Silver Ball Run
In 1890, a man named Steven Silver created the Silver Ball Run, a 6,000 km race across America from San Diego to New York City. It had been a childhood dream of his and was made possible with government funding. Two days before the race, Steven attended a press conference and answered questions.
One question asked about the high entry price, and Steven explained that it covered shelter, medical needs, and other expenses. Another question was about weapons, and Steven clarified that while the 2nd Amendment allowed for the right to bear arms, weapons could only be used for self-defense against wild animals and not against other competitors.
The race comprised nine stages, starting with a 15,000-meter sprint to an abandoned barn, followed by a hot Arizona desert, rocky mountains, flat green plains, a race through Illinois, the Great Michigan Lakes, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the last stage through New York City, ending near the Brooklyn bridge at Trinity Church. Placement in the race was decided using a points system, with first place receiving one hundred points, second place receiving fifty points, and so on, until 20th place.
The competitor with the most points would be crowned the winner of the Silver Ball Run also winning a prize of fifty million dollars. Rolligan Terra and Dart Zeppeli, two competitors, decide to join the race.
Join them on their journey, filled with enemies and challenges, as they embark on their journey for the grand prize of fifty million dollars, along the way finding finding out the truth about the race.
